On Tuesday morning, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s (CMPD) Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Unit, supported by the CMPD Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) team, executed a search warrant at an illegal fish arcade on Freedom Drive, near the Freedom Village Shopping Center in west Charlotte.
The operation led to the seizure of multiple firearms, a substantial amount of money, and illegal gaming equipment. One individual was arrested on an outstanding warrant, and several others were cited for providing armed security without proper licensing.
