Renowned Food Network chef Bobby Flay is about to open his first restaurants in the Carolinas right here in Charlotte.
His new burger chain, Bobby’s Burgers, is expanding its footprint with a new location in The Towers at SouthPark (6000 Fairview Rd).
The new location will not only serve as a burger haven but also function as Flay’s personal test kitchen, where he will personally curate and refine new recipes.
“I’m thrilled that we are opening our flagship Bobby’s Burgers in Charlotte,” said Flay in a press release. “It will be an amazing resource for ongoing R&D and a place to bring serious operators who are considering joining the Bobby’s Burgers experience. Charlotte was handpicked because it is the headquarters for our executive team in charge of franchising. I’m looking forward to many successful years in our new location.”
Joining Flay in this culinary venture is local restaurateur Frank Scibelli, who is investing in the project and will serve as an adviser. The new Bobby’s Burgers is slated to open its doors in Spring 2024, with plans for the second Carolina location to launch by the year’s end at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
When the Charlotte location opens, it’s menu will feature some interesting creations including; the Crunchburger, BBQ Smokehouse Burger, Nacho Burger, fried chicken sandwich, and the acclaimed “Beat Bobby Flay” Veggie Burger.
