Charlotte Selected To Host The 2024 ACC Championship Games

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has announced that its 2024 ACC Baseball Championship will be held in Charlotte next spring. The tournament is scheduled to take place at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte from May 21st through the 26th.

“The Charlotte Knights are looking forward to hosting the 2024 ACC Baseball Championship at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte,” said Charlotte Knights COO Dan Rajkowski in a press release. “We would like to thank the ACC for its continued commitment in bringing this week-long collegiate baseball event to our region. We are also very thankful for the continued support from the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, as well as our great partners at the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority and the Charlotte Sports Foundation.”

The Charlotte Knights previously hosted the event in 2021 and 2022, while the 2023 championship was held in Durham.

The 2024 championship will mark the 50th edition of the ACC Baseball Championship and the 26th time it has been played in North Carolina. Duke emerged as the champions in 2021, and North Carolina won the 2022 championship, both defeating N.C. State in the final game.

The 2022 championship in Charlotte attracted nearly 59,000 fans, making it the fifth most attended in the tournament’s history. The final game, where North Carolina defeated N.C. State, saw a record attendance of 10,500 spectators, the highest for an ACC Championship Game. Clemson won the 2023 championship in Durham, beating Miami with a score of 11-5.

Tickets for the upcoming tournament are currently available for purchase. All-Session passes start at $170 for field box seats and $225 for club seats. Charlotte Knights season-ticket holders are offered a discount and the option to buy the same seats they hold for Knights games.
