The game’s only offensive touchdown was scored by the Bears, with the Panthers‘ sole touchdown coming from a punt return.

The Panthers’ offense struggled, totaling just 213 yards, their season-low. Rookie quarterback Bryce Young completed 21 of 38 passes for 185 yards.

Ihmir Smith-Marsette scored for the Panthers with a 79-yard punt return touchdown, their first since 2017. He had previously averaged 6.8 yards per return.
